Airforce sorties always fly in pairs of 2
F16s locked on 6 targets but never fired, only fired 2 in empty spaces
2 Migs 21 Bison crossed over into our side chasing our 1 F16 who intentionally slowed down and appeared as left behind while other F16 was quick to return back giving impression leaving other behind
2 Thunders (our Striker AC) that did not cross over were ready and shot the 2 Migs from our side
1 wreckage fell on our side & WC Abhi ejected and was captured
1 wreckage fell on Indian side but ejected severely injured pilot landed on our side and was captured
Social media flooded with WC Abhi's videos long before DGISPR conference in which he said 2 pilots picked up
Indians were not sure if we had 2 and hence could only admit 1 pilot MIA later that day in their press conference
To play brinkmanship, we changed our story and said we only have 1 pilot ?
WC Abhi has returned, 2nd pilot being treated in CMH Rawalpindi
Now, who will pay his tea bills ???
