ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will soon restart a helpline to directly listen to the complaints of people, Parliamentary Secretary of Interior Maryam Aurangzeb told Radio Pakistan on Monday.
Aurangzeb said implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) to counter terrorism is the foremost priority of the government to make the country a cradle of peace.
She added that the premier is himself overseeing the implementation of the NAP.

Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has set up a public complaint cell, which will function round-the-clock, at the party’s public secretariat in Khursheed Begum Memorial Hall, Azizabad.

Elected members of the MQM will receive complaints on telephone, e-mail and fax and try to resolve basic problems of the people within the shortest possible time.

This was announced by MQM Coordination Committee Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar while addressing a press briefing at Khursheed Memorial Hall on Saturday.

This service will be gradually expanded and the MQM will try to get a UAN number and increase the number of telephones, he added. Complaints can be lodged at 021-3632-99-00 and 021-3631-36-90, via e-mail at [email protected], and fax (021-3680-83-87).

With due respect, such approach wont work as PM is a human and cant address issues of individuals. Rather should focus on the big picture and rectify the institutions with danda and good reforms.

Listen to the whole clip before commenting folks. This will be a call centre with 40 telephone lines where individuals can call with their complaints and their respective MNA/ MPA is going to handle those. The PM will monitor to ensure that it's working the way it should. All good steps. Imran will deliver on his promises … the status quo and the corrupt can continue to cry. They will soon be behind bars for looting the nation for last 30+ years Insha Allah.
