Need to draw the line between civilian and govt rule. When civilians are in power, it is their responsibility to delegate power as they see fit. Our police in general is inept. Our security agencies in general are inept. As far as the army is concerned, its the only organized institution remaining in the country. Do we want them to take over the country by overriding the civilians?
Sadly enough, when the army overrides civilians, we celebrate, but we dont have the guts or ability to sustain that celebration, and neither is the army made for such a prolonged tenure at the helm. The fault lies with the public, which has repeatedly voted in these inept civilians to power, knowing fully well that they are frauds, and have no interest in improving law and order. Their priorities are materialistic, as we have seen repeatedly.
If something happens in Pakistan, these Sharifs and Zardaris will have chartered planes waiting for them at the airports. We have to learn to say goodbye to them for good.
