Congratulation to Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupathi for winning French Open mixed doubles title at Roland Garos. Sania Mirza is a great role model for women on India, that you don't have to give up your carrier or dreams after your marriage. Hopefully Indian women especially Muslim women will be inspired by her.
It is 12th grand Slam win for Mahesh......4 Men's doubles and 8 Mixed doubles
For Sania it is her 2nd Grand Slam win.......both Mixed doubles
Interestingly out of eight this is the first time that Mahesh Bhupathi has won the mixed doubles with same player as partner......

That's good. There were proud moments when Vijay Amritraj or Krishnan entered QF in any Grand slam championships with so much fanfare. Quietly, this guy Mahesh has won so many Grand Slam double and Mixied double titles.
For mixed doubles , it is good to know that Sania and Mahesh are becoming good mixed doubles pair.

Wimbledon ke paas rahte hui bhi, Aap ko to tennis nahi , sirf galay milna or chaddi dikayi deta hai?
Vijay Amritraj played both singles and doubles and Ramesh Krishnan played mainly singles.......
Mahesh Bhupathi is now one Grand Slam win short of Leander Paes who has 13.....
For olympics Sania needs a wild card entry to play with Mahesh in mixed doubles......
