Federal Minister for Water and Power Development Khawaja Asif was stopped by authorities at London’s Heathrow Airport on Saturday evening for carrying ‘prohibited items’ in his luggage, reported Express News.
Khawaja Asif was reportedly traveling from London to Lahore on a Pakistan International Airlines flight PIA-715.
Express News correspondent Naseem Siddiqui reported that the minister had received his boarding pass, but was stopped during subsequent screening.
Airport authorities put Asif and his luggage through another screening process and let him through after removing some alleged prohibited items from his luggage.
