When Shabbar Zaidi became the head of FBR there was a wave of negative news towards FBR. Figures were updated on daily bases that how much we are lagging behind the target. Beside falling imports and shrinking economy Shabbar worked very hard to increase tax nets, improve internal structure and bring informal sector into formal economy and a famous measure was to introduce ID card num on the purchase of stuff worth 50k. After the removal of shabbar zaidi and appointment of a typical babu from inside of FBR MS. Nausheen Javaid we seem to have no news on media. Media is now giving us no news how much difference is there in target and achieved results. FBR is going into the black hole, things are becoming worse but businessmen and media person are happy because they are now free to evade tax. There is an unholy nexus between media and corrupts.

Media wants every one but fbr chairman was off sick with some illness. He came and went again its not because if media pm does get pressured what media wants when things are improving he sticks to his decisions.

Actually media was on payroll of traders and businessmen and doing campaign against Shabbar Zaidi. Now that he has been removed, they stopped reporting on FBR targets being missed and other issues related to FBR.

Agree...loosing Shabbar zaidi is the greatest loss...he really turned around tax culture towards positive...
