Jimmy carter is supposed to be the most bible loving leader of USA in modern history and look at his distorted views . This attitude confirms two things for Muslims .

First democracy is not for men of faith , it is rather government by the people ,of the people for the people type , just add word rich .

Second , modern Christians like ancient christians were very speculative and there is not much we musoims can learn if we follow them too closely that is if morality is our objective . Recently Pope was asked about homosexuality ,he said who are we to judge .

Two things I did not expect to see in my lifetime , one was basket full of suicide bombers every where and other a Pope or declared christian cherishing same sex marriage at presidential level in many countries .

Faith is important to former President Jimmy Carter, and he writes about it extensively in his new memoir A Full Life: Reflections at Ninety. But his religious beliefs don't keep him from supporting every American's right to marry the person they love.

HuffPost Live's Marc Lamont Hill asked Carter on Tuesday whether he believes Jesus would approve of gay marriage, and Carter said he does.

"I believe Jesus would. I don't have any verse in scripture. ...

I believe Jesus would approve gay marriage, but that's just my own personal belief. I think Jesus would encourage any love affair if it was honest and sincere and was not damaging to anyone else, and I don't see that gay marriage damages anyone else," he said

I have always enjoyed listening to Jimmy Carter..when he RIPS ...Israel off....and speaking out about Israel's atrocities...BUT this is indeed very low point of his life ...if he has said Jesus would approve this filth...Astaghfarullah...then my respect for him has gone down way down...

Well people there you have it! As a grand father of over 7 children (Jimmy Carter) approves unthinkable. Needless to say more. Tolerance has diminished to provocation to unforeseen circumstances by many in western of world in future!
Note : I myself am comparing him to a redneck rather than a ex-leader of a country.
