China started progressing when Den Xiaoping made reforms and China became a market economy.Foreign investment boostd China's economy.They provided jobs and technology transfer.Now China has caught up so it doesn't rely on foreign technology except semiconductor chips.China has a one party system so it easy to implement policies since there is no opposition.China is lucky that it has good leadership.There is corruption in China too but it is not as high as Pakistan and other developing countries.China has fixed its education system too.It is producing producing 8 times more STEM(science,technology,engineering,mathematics) graduates than America.
