No doubt, Lahore has lost its real beauty.... The over-population worsened by foolish transport plans have ruined it grandeur. Nowhere in the world, such callous development has been done except this poor city.
I remember when HC called SS to stop Orange Metro Project near Chauburji, he responded that he would build new Chauburji at some other place. With this level of IQ, what can we expect other than this junkyard which is now called Lahore....
Sorry for my harsh words, but I am really hurt as Lahore is my heart wherever I am. Not a single day, when I compare anything - I see or find, with Lahore's.

I want Pakistani people get an ounce of benefit from this column. Who Klasara befriend is his damn problem. Why stories of his friendship, companionship etc be any interest to people at large. I don't see no such articles anywhere in the world from political commentators, only in Pakistan such crap is published and tolerated. Almost all of the columnists have similar style in Pakistan. It is alien to me.

بہت خوبصورت کالم ہے ۔۔۔۔۔ شہروں کی خوبصورتی کو قائم رکھنا ایک آرٹ ہے اور آرٹ انتظامی معاملات میں بہترین حکمتِ عملی کو کہتے ہیں بہترین حکمتِ عملی رکھنے والا حاکم شیر شاہ سوری بن جاتا ہے جس نے سڑکیں بنوائیں ۔۔کنویں کھدوائے ۔۔۔ مسافروں کے لئے سرائیں بنوائیں ۔۔۔قلعے تعمیر کروائے۔۔۔۔ مگر شہروں اور دوسرے علاقوں کی خوبصورتی میں اضعافہ ہوا کمی نہیں ۔۔۔۔۔ یہ بد صورت خیالات کے مالک سریے کے تاجر جنہوں نے سازشوں کے زریعے اقتدار حاصل ۔۔۔ 30 سالوں میں اس ملک کو برباد کر کے پوچھتے ہیں ۔۔۔۔۔۔ مجھے کیوں نکالا ۔۔۔۔۔

Well, for me Lahore had always been a very dirty and hap hazard city. I am talking from experience large part of whose family resided in Lahore for decades.

very honest analyses , i have lived my life in lahore when i was in GC lahore, we walked a lot on the mall, and other nearby roads, it was a beauty, now its jungle everything that has anything to do with the culture is destroyed, these "brain less" people have gathered all the crowd in lahore, and its , uncontrollable, very ugly looking, sonamy of poor, uneducated, uncivilised, full of anxiety, and hatred people, no Halaku Khan or Changes could have done this, damage to a city, lahore we love you and we miss you, some stupid has killed the , thousand year old,full of culture and traditions, city
