کانگریس کے سربراہ راہول گاندھی نے الیکشن میں شکست تسلیم کرلی

نئی دلی: کانگریس کے سربراہ راہول گاندھی نے وزیراعظم نریندرا مودی کو لوک سبھا کے انتخابات میں کامیابی پر مبارک باد دیتے ہوئے اپنی شکست تسلیم کرلی ہے۔

بین الاقوامی خبر رساں ادارے کے مطابق کانگریس کے صدر راہول گاندھی نے ایوان زیریں (لوک سبھا) کے انتخابات کے نتائج کے بعد پریس کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے اپنی جماعت کی شکست تسلیم کرتے ہوئے وزیراعظم نریندرا مودی کو الیکشن جیتنے پر مبارک باد بھی دی۔

راہول گاندھی کا کہنا تھا کہ بھارتی ووٹرز کی رائے کا احترام کرتا ہوں اور ووٹرز کی رائے پر ہی مودی اور بی جے پی کی جیت کو ماننا پڑے گا۔ ہمارے سیاسی اور نظریاتی اختلافات ہیں جو برقرار رہیں گے اور جس پر آئندہ بھی بات ہوتی رہے گی لیکن آج ان کی فتح کا دن ہے۔

کانگریس کے صدر راہول گاندھی نے اپنی مدمقابل امیدوار اداکارہ سمرتی ایرانی کو بھی جیت پر مبارک باد دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ بھارتی عوام کی رائے کا احترام کرتا ہوں، پارٹی کارکن اور رہنما گھبرائیں نہیں، دل برداشتہ نہ ہوں اور کسی سے ڈریں نہیں، آپ کی لڑائی سچ اور حق کی لڑائی ہے جو جاری رہے گی۔

دوسری جانب وزیراعظم نریندرا مودی نے اپنی جماعت کی کامیابی پر بھارتی عوام کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ عوام کا اعتماد ہمیں مزید طاقت فراہم کرے گا جس کی مدد سے عوام کے مسائل حل کرنے کے لیے مزید محنت کریں گے۔

وزیراعظم مودی نے مزید کہا کہ خوشی کے اس موقع پر میں بی جے پی کے کارکنان کی انتھک محنت، عزم اور استقلال پر خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں، کارکنان گھر گھر گئے اور بی جے پی کے ایجنڈے کو عوام تک پہنچایا۔

واضح رہے کہ بھارت میں لوک سبھا انتخابات کے غیر سرکاری و غیر حتمی نتائج کے تحت حکمراں جماعت بھارتیہ جنتا پارٹی نے 543 میں سے 346 نشستیں جیت کر کے واضح اکثریت حاصل کرلی ہے۔

Hereditary politics is there to stay in Punjab and Sindh. You will see PPP winning again from Sindh and PMLN reclaiming Punjab in 2023 ( if elections didn’t held before that ). I am saying this not because I am voter of one of these, but because I have traveled a lot in these two provinces ( particularly rural/semi-urban areas) and have found that people are enslaved to hereditary politics. Two or three unban centres of these provinces don’t tell you the real story.

The generation that was a slave to these 2 families is in the past now. The next generation to this is vastly different. No teenager or 20, or even 30 something knows who Benazir was, or what Nawaz Sharif was. NS last 5 years were Panama laden, so not good enough to keep the family afloat.
