SC rejects Arsalans FIR plea against Malik
Islamabad: The Supreme Court (SC) has rejected the FIR plea filed by Arsalan Iftikhar against business tycoon Malik Riaz.
The SC said that the case is underway in court and the plea must be submitted there.
Earlier Arsalan Iftikhar filed a plea in the Supreme Court, requesting the court to register an FIR against business tycoon Malik Riaz.
Chief Justice of Pakistans son has asked the court to direct the police authorities to register an FIR against Malik Riaz for running a campaign against him in the media.
He has asked court to issue arrest warrants for Malik Riaz.
Arsalan has also alleged in the application that Malik Riaz has made videos of his family and tried to black mail him. He has accused Riaz of character assassination.
In the application, Arsalan Iftikar has requested the court to provide him with security.
The Supreme Court today, will resume the hearing of suo motu case regarding accusations of dubious transactions between the Chief justices son, Arsalan Iftikhar Chaudhry and real state tycoon Malik Riaz.
