There are thousands of books and thousands of columns that cite unnamed sources and then there are hundreds of soures who come forward to give an account which is contradictory. Sometime stories, especially related to intelligence and national security, are contradicted or denied. Who is going to sue who? Pasha is going to sue NYT journalist in a US court and discuss detalis of that event? Thats not how it happens.

Look at the raid in abbottabad, there are varying and contradictory accounts of what happened. In these matters its intentional. Different versions are 'leaked' to the media for various reasons.
