The reason I have put this thread is that for economy minded student travellers who care little , the Pakistan youth hostels is a good way of travelling , that is if you are not too much given to comforts . The other reason is that this organization needs public interest and scrutiny as it might need some revamping . Of course retired civil servants will be more interested in parasitizing this for any or little benefits , it is little ,but may expand or whatever .

Pakistan youth hostels top post is up for grabs again , it was somehow parasitized by people from certain organizations like senate and some former family members of people with such links .

One good example of how our country's bodies run is to have a look at Pakistan youth hostels , there is a executive committee and there is trust and there are overlapping members and there are members from one or two family all over . Then how dynamic are these members . You guys would not have even heard that it exists and has many hostels of use to you . of course you as student can use it if you are a member and are infact cash starved traveller .Of course this organization needs detailed audit and strenghtening .

No organization should become a hub of one family or two but the more important point is that in the link given it has some facilities , scenery looks good .
