Wow, Basha Dam fund meter big jumps in donations within a month

Amazing to see people contributing more and more after appeal of IK. An increase of more than 5 billion in a month, yesterday it was 5 billion, today crossed 6 billion mark. Thank you Pakistanis!

There are two phases for this dam:

1. Water reservoir
2. Power house

It can be built in stages. Reservoir will cost less. Do not have exact figures at the moment but around 30% of the whole cost.

The government can start building reservoir as soon as sufficient funds for first year are available and إن شاء الله they will.

Even if any of these two corrupt government would have ever thought seriously in last 10 years, they were to spare only 40 billion rupees each year.

However Butt League chose to spent massive Rs. 300 billion just on Orange train and took IMF loan of around Rs. 16,000 -18,000 billion rupees in 5 years and no one know where all this money has gone?

It's amazing to see that you can raise such a big amount through donations in such a short period of time. 6 billion is not a small amount to raise.

If you look at the amount most of the money is collected from Pakistan, very little from overseas Pakistani's efforts should be put to arrange fund raisers in US/UK/UAE/Europe

Let us be positive. It is a very big undertaking to do it on self financing.
But human history is full of such endevours where resolve and dedication have been winners.

Still 1194 billions to go! SC can easily extract 1000 from Malik Riaz & Co. The rest of the money can be extracted from Sharif and Zaradri family. Just seize their benami Sugar mills and properties. Like they did for Ishaq Dar.

You can and most likely will be the way to go , for power houses you get private investors who will run/manage it .So yea you are right !

Sharoo kaay palothey Kay son mera khanay kaa MATLAB donation speed is slow
It should be more and fast donations. 220 million population and almost in 3 month only 5 billions.
