Worlds Cheapest Metro was built for $2.4 Millions per KM and most expensive $8.8 millions per KM. The cheapest Pakistan built is $11 Millions per KM and most expensive is $20 millions per KM.

So far we built three metro systems:

- Lahore metro costs us $11 Million per KM

Length: 27.1KM
Total Cost: $298.1 Millions

- Multan Metro costs us $16 Millions per KM

Lenght: 18.2KM
Total Cost: $291.2 Millions

-Islamabad Metro costs us $20 Millions per KM

Length: 22.6 KM
Cost: $452 Millions

If we add up all these numbers the total cost to build three metro systems is $1,041.3.00 Millions.

Lets assume amortization is 30 years.

Interest Rate is 4%

Per month we will pay $5.02 Millions for 30 years to pay the construction loan alone.

Lets assume cost of 1 bus is around $100K.

How many buses can be put on road for $5.02 Millions: 50.2 per month and

in a year 602.4 and in 30 years 18,072 if we use existing roads for public transport.

I hope this much number of buses will be enough for whole country not for three cities.

Okay I looked at it, how can you compare the two One is train and other one is buss service on the elevated tracks. This train's first section was built in 1986, and is still expanding. What exactly you want to prove here ???

However What i was saying is that we cannot compare the costs like this. This comparison is nothing more than a propaganda stunt. The true comparison needs lots of research which is not possible in a TV talkshow or a discussion forum.

Well i am not able to fight that claim whether DG name is correct or not. It is a big news from last 4 days and there is no denial. I will back off my 41 b taunt with apology if the official denial comes from KPK govt. However it surprises me that you are now looking for reliable sources. Even though if you do that it will be major violation to the Imrani ways as he does not like reliable source. If you remenber 35 puncture tape and Javed saddiq case.

I respect every bodies openion. My take on PTI became different after Dharna. The wish fof umpires ungli was what day pushed me out. Personally i expected same election results in 2013 so my stance on dhandly was nof too strong. When i saw person like Sharif ud deen pirzada lost in court on this. It confirmed to me that IK is a lier if not bigest like others but he is. Then i critically looked at his guidelines he provided to kpk govt and found him zerro over there. So on my openion now IK is the most honest person in Pakistani politics but does not know what exactly to do. The person who goes to all extents to get what he wants and does not care what is the ethical value of his actions. He plays politics and compromises with the leagal limits and does not even know what damage his actions can do. Examples are, not admitting CPEC and allowing chines president to come. Not respecting Erdgaan. Encouraging for hundi ans civil disobedience burning bills with out knowing it will hurt country. It all scares me from him.
