We hear relationships have baggage – this relationship literally does. A 50-year-old woman was arrested by police for hiding inside a suitcase so she could visit her boyfriend at his apartment complex where she was banned, the Orgeonianreports.
Workers at the apartment complex were worried when they saw a man lugging around a pink rolling suitcase for months. They thought there might be a person inside but felt that they could not prove it.
An unidentified caller told police that a man had kidnapped a woman and carried her around in the suitcase. When police confronted the accused, Curtis T Lowe, he denied knowing anything.
Upon searching the apartment, officers found the suitcase in the living room and Kola McGrath in the closet, who told them that she had not been kidnapped but was hiding so she could visit her boyfriend’s apartment despite being banned for breaking a fire extinguisher case with her purse.
Police arrested and booked McGrath on a trespassing count. She has since been released.
