in my opinion ANP's goverment in khyber paktoonkhawa,pml-n government in punjab,and ppp government in sindh with little ammendment will continue,but in center pml-n,mqm,pmlq are going to work together for few months then fresh elections will start

Army does not want PMLN in power and they are trying to break it up. The work is under process. They want to bring Imran under a Bangla like model but Imran doesn't believe in that stuff and he wants to come into power with the power of vote and wants the whole country to be behind him. The only place Imran wasn't reaching was the villages and now he is there also. The flood disaster turning out to be a good thing in disguise for Imran.

PML-F, PML-Q merger not possible

By Ahmad Noorani ISLAMABAD: The proposed merger of the pro-establishment parties, PML-F and PML-Q, as All Pakistan Muslim League is illegal as per the Political Parties Order of 2002, says the former Election Commission secretary Kunwar Dilshad.
He told The News that in 2008, President Asif Ali Zardari just stopped at the last minute from converting the PPPP into the original PPP in his bid to repossess the party from Makhdoon Amin Fahim because of the threat of Politcal Parties Act.
Dilshad said top PPP leaders, Farooq Naek, Jehangir Badr and Latif Khosa, had visited him to get advice on the possibility of converting the PPPP, the registered political party with the ECP, into the PPP or merger of the two.
Dilshad said he told the visiting guests that because of Clauses 3, 4 and 5, which deal with formation and constitution of new political parties, such a scheme would not be feasible as members elected on a PPPP ticket could not be put into any other party and they would lose their membership immediately.
He said that the top PPP leadership then decided not to go for this dangerous option. Sources said that later allefforts were made to get Makhdoom of Hala fall in line and was given the top slot in the federal cabinet.
Same is the position now for the PML-F and the PML-Q. First, there is no party registered with the ECP with the name of PML-Q and the registered party is the PML. The PML-F is registered and has its members in Senate, National Assembly and provincial assemblies, Kanwar said.
In case, members of these two factions join a new party their membership of provincial assemblies, the National Assembly and Senate will be cancelled immediately, he said. Another important point, he said, is that Pervez Musharraf had already applied for registration of a political party with the name All Pakistan Muslim League.
He said that though it was the discretion of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) to allot the name to anyone yet generally the group, which applies for a specific name first, gets priority. So if General Musharrafs party is given the name of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), the new F-Q alliance will be unable to get this name.

yes efforts are going on to make a government by leaving pml-n out of government but it is not possible,without pml-n no new setup will be sustainable bcz mora than 90%punjab is in pocket of pml-n and army knows their potential.Saudia arabia also wants Sharif Brother back in Governmant,so army will not make saudi arabia angry at this time(serious)

I am not sure about that. They have merged in the past, they would that again. These political personalities have rounded bottoms they can easily tilt any which without exerting any effort.

KARACHI: The rulers should not play the Sindh card as the floods and the merger of the two factions of Pakistan Muslim League (PML) had rendered it invalid, and Pir Pagaro possesses the trump card now, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said at the Karachi Press Club on Sunday.

The modalities of the merger would be sorted out soon. And we shall not leave Pagaro under any circumstances, he said.

Change through democratic process under constitutional limits would be supported, he added.

Pervez Musharraf made three major mistakes - the Lal Mosque operation, the sacking of chief justice of Pakistan and the Balochistan operation that lead to the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti, he said.

Earlier, PML-Quaid Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Syed said the natural catastrophe had converted into a major human disaster and the government had failed to address this situation.

After a span of six weeks, no concrete plan or development was made for the relief and rehabilitation of the people in the flood-affected areas, he said.

We have proposed a three-point agenda for dealing with the catastrophe. Firstly, we have asked the government and other parties to declare a political ceasefire until the flood affectees get settled. Secondly, a complete plan should be devised for rescue and relief operation across the country. Thirdly, the government should discuss about the waiver of foreign debts, he added.
