My own analysis, will be happy if I'm proved wrong.
Altaf Hussain is in a very bad financial situation. He created this drama to increase his rate. After the announcement Noon contacted him and he cancelled his already-announced 3 Sept 6 PM speech/public gathering. Pakistan High Commission in the UK will provide him with the funds he's agreed with Noon. He'll be happy with new supply of liquor. Rabbitta Committee has been humiliated again. AH will have a good night sleep and cancel the call for resigning in the best interests of the country and democracy.

ISLAMABAD: The separation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) from the government has a 22-year old history as MQM has done it on at least dozen occasions since 1989. During these two decades MQM remained a coalition partner with Pakistan People’s Party, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and PML-Quaid-e-Azam and either left or threatened every government of whom it was part of, if history is any guide.

100% topi drama...just watch nothing will happen..except payment or govt slots to MQM...been there too many times!!!

Mr Gabol is very keen to resign, because after resigning he is planning to start his own consultancy firm. He will act as a consultant to politicians on how to get 180,000 votes in about 8 hours !!!
