Why we burn our own assets?

The civilians of Pakistan are frustrated with the indecent livelihood they have. Loadshedding, inflation, water crisis are all problems that can be solved by the governing authorities of the country, but are not. People here tend to damage their own properties while protesting against the government.Whats the use of protesting when we burn our own possessions? Isnt there a decent way to have our messages conveyed to the government?
