According to guardian news: Bezos, Musk: why are these billionaires, with all their worldly riches, fixated on space travel?

The Tesla founder, Elon Musk, argues that in becoming “multi-planetary”, humans might gain “failsafe” protection from the risks of extinction or planetary collapse, while Amazon’s Jeff Bezos speaks of “saving the Earth”.

These are all lies. To sustain lives in outer space you need a team of engineers at earth. It is stupid to say that by going into space we will not face extinction. Billionaires just want to compete with each other for the sake of ego and make a millions out of gullible investors

I agree with your opinion..... I think it's better to spend their money on poverty, food, education, and health in third world countries rather than wasting their money.
