Why Pakistan are not creating more administrative units(provinces) ?

I see punjab and I see KPK , they choose a few cities and they do all their development there while the rest of the province keeps suffering, When the election will come they will boast their work in a few select areas and thats it. Why we are not pushing for more administrative units is beyond my understanding , the way we are going only some cities will benefit whereas the others will remain as backwards as ever.

Are we afraid that karachi province will go into the hands of MQM? Then so be it , if they have enough support in karachi then democracy says that they have a right to rule karachi. The dysfuntional local body system in all the country is the testament that the power is still centralized and the money never reaches the lower level. I wonder which "sane " leader would have asked a load of 1.68 billion dollars for a train for only one city when the whole provinces hospitals and schools are in need of medical emergency.

KPK is not only peshawer , punjab is not only making a bullet train work in Lahore. Decentralize power if you want to see real change , otherwise things wont change for another 1000 years. There can be 4 administrative units in punjab , 2 each in kpk , sindh and balochistan. No one ever talks about it anymore.

In sindh local sindhi will never agree to divide sindh into two parts. In Blochistan , Blochi will never accept pushton province in Balochistan. Only option left is to divide KPK in to two parts which is easy.

Things can start from KPK but remember 60 percent of population lives in punjab. Politically no party would like to lose its dominion over the minions but for the sake of these minions more administrative units must be created or otherwise all taxpayers money is effectively going into the political gutters.

Germany is equal to size of Baluchistan and it has 14 Provinces and the only reason is that small area can be well managed and there will very less corruption as funds are equally distributed. imagine Punjab divided in 6 units, every CM will receive equal share and less money to do corruption unlike khadim ala who holds everything. from islamic point of view n history we can see there is much more emphasis on small units but Question is why would these power hungry leaders let go their powers.... they not willing it to give constitutional powers to local bodies let alone sharing their provincial powers.

دوئم ۔ ہر تحصیل کو شہری علاقوں میں اپنے ترقیاتی کاموں کے لئے 3 ارب روپیہ سالانہ فی تحصیل کے حساب سے فنڈ دیئے جائیں اور وہاں کے بلدیاتی اداروں کو فیصلے کرنے کا اختیار دیا جائے۔ یہ فنڈز بھی وفاقی بجٹ سے ہی دیئے جائیں اور صوبائی بجٹ گرانٹ میں سے کاٹ لئیے جائیں۔


اب مثال کے طور پر اگر پنجاب میں میٹروپولیٹن شہروں کو پچیس اور سو ارب کے درمیان فی شہر دے دئیے جائیں اور ہر تحصیل کو 3 ارب سالانہ دئیے جائیں تو پنجاب کے سولہ سو ارب کے ترقیاتی بجٹ میں صرف ایک تیسرا حصہ ہی کمی ہو گی ۔ اور ان کے پاس پھر بھی ایک ہزار ارب روپیہ باقی بچ جائے گا جو وہ نئے سکول ، ہسپتال اور سڑکیں بنانے پر صرف کر سکیں گے ہاں اس میں سے دو سو ارب دیہات اور زراعت کی ترقی پر بھی لگانا ہو گا ۔​

Must kill the corruption and decentralize power to district/tehsil level.
Also, we must remove the name Punjab since the name conflict with Indian punjab, and Balochistan since it's conflict with Blochistan province in Iran.
Sindh should be split into at least 2 administrative unit for now, and later should be split into 3 or four.

They don't care about the country and more busy about how to scam the country by taking more loans for their fake projects.
They can't even provide basic necessities to people.
