why Kingdom of Saudi Arabia charge muslims for HAJJ ?

KSA is a oil rich country, and its foreign reserves are like 6in the world ranking. YET King's are so greedy that they charge Muslims for performing their religious duties i.e. Hajj..my question is why ?

if today any of Caliph would alive , would he ever charges MUSLIMS of world for performing their religious duties ?

why any lal topi , anjam ch, or any so called " movement for Khilafat" talk about it ? and by the way who gave the ownership of MUSLIM HOLY PLACES to Saudi ROYAL FAMILY ?

if i have a power , i would attack KING's country , and liberate MUSLIM HOLY PLACES from the clutches of Saud's .. and then make free arrangements for HAJIS and facilitate them on every possible manner.

There is a good reason to charge fee and that is to restrict the number of peoples performing Hajj, Kaaba Area needs extension every few years and Mindless SHahi Khandaan has no vision they just bulit a $1 Billion Dollar building with World's largest Clock on it just by the Kaaba area and I think they wud have to demolish that as well within few years to meet the ever increasing number of peoples willing to peform Hajj.

The cannot allow open entry --- otherwise there would be chaos --- that's why they allocate quota for each country for Hajj only --- For Umrah, there are no restrictions.


Tour Operators were given license by Saudi Government to ease the processing burden. Tour Operators charge for Air fare and accommodation.

Here in UK, I can get Umrah visa in 30-50 (depends on your negotiation and group size) and can buy my own ticket and can select my hotel for accommodation or even can stay free with relatives (bigsmile)

Well my family & I have lived in saudi Arabia for about 10 years. I have done two hajj and my father have done 15 hajj without paying any money to saudi government. It is our government who takes haram money not saudis. Infact saudis are spending a lot to facilitate pilgrims. So stop this false propoganda.

Does he know what he is saying what are its consequences.
An average haji pays something around 400,000 which includes airfare, accomodation and free free meals where applicable. Not a single penny goes to the the saudi Govt. Instead they spend billions from the national exchequer to facilitate the hajis.

Please read the payment voucher of the haj, you will not find any payment for saudi government. All new construction and maintenance of both harams are from the government money not a single riyals from Hajis. Haj expenses paid by visitors includes travel, residence, medical and mualam fee who make all arrangement for the visitors.

I request the young guy SHEROO (Probably PTI as it is their style) not to start a thread which is not based on the real fact. These kind of bu wrong statements are studied by the other youngster and make their wrong believes - If SHEROO has courage than he should apologies for this misleading thread

May be you need some help in finding out who has done what. Al Saud may have committed sins but those are their personal sins. As for Iranian clergy they have been the ones holding the dagger whenever ummat has found one in its back. So you may see them as one and same but I don't.
