NS is in deep trouble if SC happens to give a direct verdict rather than form a commission which will take much longer and will definitely be in the best interest of NS. Most of the sympathizers of PML-N are trying hard to push this exact agenda on various talk shows.
Interestingly, JI has also taken up a similar stance and appears to be giving a helping hand to NS.

JI for judicial commission for Panamagate enquiry
MULTAN: Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Liaqat Baloch has appealed to the Supreme Court (SC) to set up a judicial commission for an enquiry against all those mentioned in the Panama leaks and also give a road map for their trial.
Addressing a press conference at Media Centre Multan during his tour on Thursday, he called for an across the board accountability of all the corrupt both in the government and the opposition.
The JI Secretary General said that the tug of war between political parties could prove harmful for the country's solidarity, the freedom movement in Kashmir and for the democratic system.
Liaqat Baloch appreciated the smooth change of the army chief and said that Gen (r) Raheel Sharif had raised the image of the country and the armed forces by not seeking extension and had thus cleared the negative effects left by Ayub Khan, Yahya Khan, Ziaul Haq and Pervez Musharraf.
The JI central leader said the new army chief would have to face numerous challenges. He said that the people of India had pinned high hopes from Modi but India at present facing serious crises.
Indian army was helpless before the Kashmiris as the martyrdom of Burhan Wani had given infused new life in the freedom struggle. The minorities in India were also up and Modi could prove India's Gorbachev. He said that complete national unity was imperative to face the threats from across the border.
Referring to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he said that the project was highly important for the region. However, he said, that the CPEC was not the project of any single party, it was the project of the entire nation.
He said it was the responsibility of the federal government to ensure equitable distribution of the country's resources so that there was no sense of deprivation from any quarter.
He added that the delay in holding census was a big failure on the part of the government. Besides, he said, the government had also failed to decide fresh National Finance Award.
He called for building Motorway between Multan and DG Khan and for completion of Ghazi Bridge at Mithan Kot.
The JI Secretary General called on the Punjab Governor Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana to express his condolences over the demise of the Governor's nephew. He was accompanied by JI Deputy Chief Mian Muhammad Aslam and JI district Chief Asif Akhwani.
