Socrates wanted everyone to be educated to the point that they became smart.That is why it is said unless masses of Pakistani Public is Educated Democracy will not work here.

I think you don't need education or smart brain to understand b/w right and wrong and good and evil. Our people especially Punjab and Sindh and Baluchistan tend to vote for powerful even if he is the most evil. Other matters like modern economy, IMF , technology and world issue , yes education is very much required to understand and then vote ....

I do not agree with him.... Such kind of a democracy only leads to castism , creation of a privileged class in a society , a group of educated people.
In such a scenario such a cartel would always love to not educate others create hurdles and making it impossible for others not to join their privileged class.

What does it mean by an educated person?
A person who believes in equality of human beings, rejects violence against all including animals, believes in the rights of all and respects freedom of speech and thought
Or a person who thinks all are not equal on religious and racial grounds ,belives slavery is okay ,turning people into slavery and having sex with slaves is legal, he can fu...k others women but others cannot touch his women , looks down upon others for what they eat drink or wear, if someone agrees or joins him he/she must be compensated and if he/she leaves him then Sir Tan Se Juda ,rejects freedom of speech and turns to violence when he thinks he is offended
