Why dont we promote Solar energy in Pakistan????

Guys please have some debate on solar, aj kal sab se bara masla pakistan main load shedding ka hai. Why dont we buy solar products from china? And try to convert our daily appliances to solar energy.

I also understand that solar panels are not cheap. But small products like solar fan, solar coolers, like light, and people use deep cycle batteries with them to store energy all day.

I give you an example like, aik darzee ko apna kaam karney ke liye aik light aur aik 12 volt ko dc motor jitna current darkar hai, jo asaani se aik chotay solar panel se hasel ho sakta hai. Ab issi tarah ke aur bohat sare solutions hain jiss hum log kuch na kuch iss solar energy per convert kar ke apni life thori se aasan kar saktay hain.

2nd option wind turbine hain, jo ke chotay bhi mil jatey hain, jo ke ghar je liye kafi hain, aur yeh sab ap ke next door china se mil sakta hai. Wahi se sari dunya main jata hai.

Come on people have some discussion on this if you love pakistan, lets educate people of pakistan.

magr mere piyare bahi solar py tax itna hai k ap soch b nahi sakte import to mushkil hai haan kisi samagler ko bolo to wo ap ko provide kr sakta hai phir yeh sab

The resourceful countries who can research and develop economical solar power equipment are the oil producing countries, so there is discouragement from their side in developing solar energy. Third world countries are too poor to carry out research and development on solar energy. This is the main reason why solr energy is not being made affordable.

Installation of Solar panels are not allowed unless you got permission and no objection from the concern authorities which is WAPDA and others.

Concept behind this is they are suppose to provide power and you can not create any other parallel power generating source.
This is their monopoly in the field.

But the reality is they fail to fulfill their responsibilities.
Even then they are not ready to surrender their authority.
If you install Solar panels on your roof top, anytime these authorities can take them away.

This has happen at few places in Lahore.

aur yeh raat ko charge shuda battery per light dey ga i mean subu ko baatery charge keray ga
aur raat ko aap fan chilao gayyy.
aur agr aasman per badal hon tou yeh sirf 10% tak kaam kerta hai jo k takreeban na honay kay barabar hai.

Solar can be excellent solution far pakistan , that is the government introduce "feed-in-tariff" with a reverse able meters at no cost to the Government .
This allows your electric meter to spin forward when electricity flows from the utility into your home (at night and during stormy weather), and backwards when your solar energy system produces surplus electricity that is not immediately used by your house (during the middle of the day).
The well off people can easily effort these panels (ie 5 to 10 lac) and reduce demand on the national grid .

the fraud can be prevented by regular checks and maximum repayments limits .

For off grid consumption of 2-2.5 kw Initial expense if you buy reliable pannels from a branded maker, a good inverter and long life branded batteries is roughly 25 lac.

lakin solar products ki main ne baat bhi ki hai kissi ne us ke bare main koi baat nahi ki, as i mentioned before, ke solar panels i know ke bohat expensive hain, lakin small products like a fan, coolar, light.etc. you dont need too big panels even small panels will do the job.

If some one please update if we bring any product from overseas is there any problem in pakistan? I mean custom etc?

I have posted many threads on solar energy on this forum. I don't know why people still think it is very expensive. Solar energy cost has come down about 50% in past 3-4 years due to mass production of solar panels by the Chinese and improvements in the technology. People with technical skills in Pakistan have to come forward and promote it for widespread use. It is the only technology where you don't need to rely on government.
