You are right in terms of an umbrella statement.
But Where did Spanish flu go. Why it did not annihilate whole mankind. Because once recovered transmitted subdued strains. Now we may have it every year. But we already have defense in our body.
Remember we are not talking on individuals. The emerging statistical picture are telling different story which is not so scary.

I always agreed with Imran.
In fact this is the only thing for which i agreed with him.
They have some valid points but in this day and age so much confusion as whom to believe and whom not to. I would personally like to see an educated debate between experts of the field who are pro quarantine and against like the gentlemen above. Mostly we are seeing media are one sided press conferences from both schools of thoughts.
Don't have enough energy to argue more at this stage but just googled as how COVID19 is different than previous pandemics I see a valid point there too and I am more confused than ever and as clear as mud in my thoughts ?

I totally agree with you. It may be too early to jump to any solid conclusion. The hot spots like new York, Italy and Spain are really scary. But one thing is true that mortality rate is not going to depend on testing stats. I person sick enough that he dies with this disease will eventually end up in hospital and become part to stats.
And this number is reducing as the number of tests are increasing. So it does makes some sense that lethal-ness of virus may be a bit hyped.
