Who is Jamil Khassogi?

Does anyone know the relationship of Jamil Khassogi with Adnan Khassogi, the famous middleman in Arms dealing in 70's and early 80's. He was the agent of big armament manufactures of USA in S. Arabia. Jamil Khassogi was also one of the first few Arabs who accompanied Osama bin Laaden when they came to Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. He was a suspected CIA agent. Photographs of Jamil Khassogi standing beside Osama in Afghanistan exist.

CIA have been executing their own agents when they become too big for their boots. Zia Ul Haq was known to take his daily briefing from CIA chief Casey and this well documented. King Hussain of Jordan was also mentioned in the same book and would regularly talk with Casey.Execution of its own agents by CIA is not a new phenomenon. Could any one who knows something about this please enlighten us. THanks

He was in media team of Prince Turki al faisal who was intellegence chief for Saudia for long time and he quit his job few days before 9/11 happened . This Khasoogi guy stayed on with Turki for a while. So chances are he knew lot more secrets but even that does not explain his murder like that. Little bit of criticism in a Washongton post does not really warrant the murder but MBS os a bit silly and toung and will likely pay the price.

Any event with international profile and characters will have some impact on Pakistan directly or indirectly. In this case, motive is not really clear yet but objective seems some what clear to remove MBS.

MY DEAR, may be you are correct, how that event influence the economical condition of pakistan? how it will help us to curb corruption in Pakistan? How it will help Pakistan to develop human resources?

Totally wrong information on Gen zia ul haq. He never took dictation from anyone and was doing what was in best interest of his country

You read the book about William casey. I read it 15 yrs back but am forgetting the title. As far as dictation is concerned let's let dead bodies be in their graves. Just research this with an open mind and you will be in for big surprise. As far as his patriotism is concerned I have no doubts about that. He was not big enough intellectually to rise to the occasion. When you are occupying big offices the biggest problem is that boot-lickers keep you in the dark. Bhutto with his great intellectual powers fell into trap unwittingly. A small fraction of world leaders have avoided this trap.

I am no defender of That rascal Bhutto. I agree with you that the greatest damage inflicted was by him. Nevertheless we must admit he was way ahead of Zia intellectually albeit in a sinister way

ZA bhutto was intellactual in negative way and did lot of damadge to countrywhereas zia was a real patriotic man
