About Jordan

Pakistan had sent numerous military advisers to Jordan and Syria to help in their training and military preparations for any potential war with Israel. When the Six Day war started, Pakistan assisted by sending a contingent of its pilots and airmen to Egypt, Jordan and Syria. PAF pilots performed excellently and downed about 10 Israeli planes including Mirages, Mysteres, Vautours without losing a single plane of their own.[SUP][/SUP]

Jordan and Iraq decorated Pakistani Flight Lieutenant Saif-ul-Azam. Israelis praised the performance of PAF pilots too. Eizer Weizman, then Chief Of Israeli Air Force wrote in his autobiography about Air Marshal Noor Khan (Commander PAF at that time): "...He is a formidable person and I am glad that he is Pakistani ..."[SUP][/SUP] No Pakistani ground forces participated in the war.

After the end of the Six-Day War, Pakistani advisors had remained in Jordan and were training the Jordanian Forces. In 1970, King Hussein of Jordan decided to remove the PLO and its forces from Jordan by force after a series of terrorist acts attributed to the PLO which undermined Jordanian sovereignty. On September 16, King Hussein declared martial law. The next day, Jordanian tanks attacked the headquarters of Palestinian organizations in Amman. The head of Pakistan's training mission to Jordan, Brigadier-General Zia-ul-Haq (later President of Pakistan), took command of the Jordanian Army's 2nd division and helped Jordan during this crisis.[SUP][/SUP]

Pakistan again assisted during the Yom Kippur War, sixteen PAF pilots volunteered for service in the Air Forces of Egypt and Syria. The PAF contingent deployed to Inchas Air Base (Egypt) led by Wing Commander Masood Hatif and five other pilots plus two air defence controllers. During this war, the Syrian government decorated Flight Lieutenant Sattar Alvi when he shot down an Israeli Mirage over the Golan Heights.[SUP][/SUP] The PAF pilots then became instructors in the Syrian Air Force at Dumayr Air Base and after the war Pakistan continued to send military advisers to Syria and Jordan. Apart from military advisers, no Pakistani ground forces participated in this war.

So what was all the fuss about ?

I guess you wanted to label him some sort of Punjabi murderer

because he was in charge in the early 90's and the operation in the early 90's

Well that backfired, the guy is highly decorated with a spotless track record and not Punjabi

A sort of "Mohajir",who saw himself as a Pakistani and not as a Pakistani who saw himself as a "Mohajir"

I know he isw a Mohajir but he tries to pass himself off as a Punjabi. As far as I am aware he had no role in the Karachi operation. He was Chair of the JCSC but he has been hiding his place of birth from the public domain. In fact the information you have got on him proves that he is a true Mohajir from East Pakistan.

In any case I would like to condemn him for looking the other way whilst the Punjabi soldiers serving under him were committing heinous war-crimes against Karachiites between 1992-99. A Mohajir General but without the cleverness of Pervez Musharraf or the guts of Mirza Aslam Beg. What do you think [MENTION=23831]UKPakistani[/MENTION]?

A highly decorated Soldier with a distinguished career.

You tried desperately to find something on him to make him look bad, you failed, and so now the most pathetic criticism, he looked the other way. Um so did 500000 other soldiers. You condemn them all too ? Would you rather we had an Army made up entirely of "Mohajirs"

What is he distinguished for? For pretending to be a Punjabi? For hiding his place of birth? For burying his head in the sand whilst the Punjabi Army was carrying out massacres in Karachi?

Show me one Punjabi General with a distinguished career.

I am from a Mohajir family but I am a punjabi now as I am by birth a punjabi speak punjabi well, and believe you me, have never been discriminated. We Mohajirs still can't get out of this ethnic issue. From upper to lower punjab, I have seen the least amount of racism and wherever mohajirs are settled, be it Lahore or Multan, they are always boasting about themselves and trying to degrade others in private gatherings (not all but some) and I am happy we are not amongst them. Sorry to see that you think being a punjabi or "pretending" it is a wrong thing.

The issue with Mohajirs is that during british era, ashrafiyyah was totally suppressed so those who served them the best rose up be them chaudharies of Punjab (most of them) or mohajir leaders (of today) so they still are going on with this game.

You are sad and pathetic

It seems you hate ALL Pakistanis, Punjabis, Pathan, Balouch, Sindhi Kashmiri are all wrong and you and the "Mohajirs" are the only Pakistanis who have done anything for Pakistan

I pity you, and this sad hatred you have. It has to come from a deeper inferiority complex. I strongly suggest a psychologist, because all your desires wishes and hatred will turn to ashes, and the ashes will be yours.

You can never achieve these fantasies of Soobas and Jinnahpur, learn to live in Pakistan as a Pakistani, learn to give something back for what it has given you, instead of screaming and shouting how wronged you feel. It is nothing compared to the wrong MQM has done Pakistan

Anyway be as sad and pathetic as you like, makes little difference

Living off bhatta all your life does that I guess, now there are other bhatta khors competing for your turf and you are pissed off.

Live with it

  1. A province is our right. Jinnahpur was a defamatory allegation which has been disproved.
  2. I pay more tax to Pakistan than you paid before you escaped to the UK 40 years ago
  3. It seems you live off benefits in the UK which is why you do not want to return to Pakistan
  4. General Shamim Alam is a traitor and an embarassment for all Mohajirs because of his role in the Karachi operation
  5. All Pujabi war criminals from wherever they are in the world should be brought to justice. They have murdered, raped and plundered too many innocent people.
  6. MQM did not break East Pakistan but Punjabis did.
  7. I give more to Pakistan than you ever will.

What you demand is a million zillion trillion times more than anything you can have or will be able to give to Pakistan

You measure everything in money and taxes

That is so sad, alll you want to prove is you pay more tax, okay you win you pay more tax than any Pakistani ever what does that entitle you to

Some are more equal than others ? What you have done is worth so much more than any other (pay tax) Pakistani ever gave to Pakistan ?

Your brain is really full of sh*t spoon fed to you b your retared "leadership"

Pakistan owes you NOTHING and everything you have was given to you because you were born Pakistani. so shut the Furk up and get a life

There is no logic or reasoning why you as a BORN PAKISTANI have a right to any sooba because YOUR ANCESTORS CHOSE to come and live in MY COUNTRY

Finally as regards the General, well there is always a first in how pathetic anyone can be, you have made a fine start by calling him what you have. He has my respect from the heart as an honest and sincere Pakistani Soldier who did his duty everytime when asked and more.

PS I do recommend you see a psychiatrist for this persecution and inferiority complex which clearly ails you, into hating everyone and everything Pakistani except those deluded into thinking they are Mohajirs, when they are ALL born Pakistanis who will never see anything but Pakistan.

Medical conditions like yours can be treated with time patience and logic

Go on try and be just Pakistani instead of loathing all things Pakistani except that which you are NOT ie a Mohajir

Do explain how YOU MIGRATED that YOU can call yourself a "Mohajir" YOU were born in Pakistan, and you will die there,

"Mohajir" will not be part of the equation when you have to answer to Allah why you supported bhatta khor terrorist kidnappers

when you knew the truth abouth how they operate. Search your soul heart and inside. your mind/brain is contaminated ignore that ;)

An Afterthought

This is how confused you are

You said in another thread that as you are Pakistani, you supported the Pak Army in 1971,
but this General who was honoured for what he did that year is a traitor ?
To his Mohajir roots ? what should he have done, ?
Fought against the Army YOU supported in 1971 ? and that would make him your hero ?

Psychological issues def friend, get some help. Seriously

  1. You have lost it completely
  2. Yes I pay more tax and if you follow the history of the Boston Tea Party only tax-payers should be allowed to have a say in the government.
  3. Having my own province is important to me in case, just in case the Punjabi Army repeats the history of 1971 in Sind.
  4. The country does not belong to you. You do not even live here
  5. General Shamim Alam (although he is a Mohajir) turned his back on Mohajirs during the days of the Karachi operation from 1992-9. He should therefore be given the award of Nang-e-Mohajir (amongst his various other military awards)
You were about to name to me one Punjabi General with a distinguished career. What happened to that?
