ISLAMABAD: May 6; according to report Fahmida MirzaFahmida Mirza speaker of National Assembly and Dr. Zulfikar Mirza Former Interior Minister of Sindh who reported to have gone on leave to the United States are reported to have extended their stay after the Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) brought back into the Pakistan Peoples Party – led coalition government at the centre.
The sources said that on Friday the two important leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party reported to have expressed their serious reservations over the move of their party leadership to get back Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) to play their roles in the central government.
The sources said that Dr. Zulfikar Mirza former interior minister of Sindh did not have any program to return back soon and he had categorically refused to accept any senior position in the party, although the president Asif Ali Zardari specifically offered him the post of Sindh President of PPP but Dr. Zulfikar Mirza refused to accept it.
The sources disclosed that Speaker National Assembly Dr. Fahmida Mirza already informed the party that she wanted to stay for some times more in United States to look after her ailing sister.
