Few months back in September, Facebooks Whatsapp had introduced snapchat like beta features in their application. These Snapchat beta features allowed you to share photos and videos including GIF images as your status. Finally Facebook has announced to launch the updates yesterday. Now WhatsApp app updated for iOS, Android and Windows Phones.

These new features including a lot on fun like you can now add text, emoji and drawings to your images and videos. Not only this, but also all your contacts will then be able to see your multimedia status. Actually not all, but those who you allow. The messenger application also has updated its status feature which previously allows only a little string of text. Now you can also put images and videos as your status which is already a feature of snapchat.
The most common feature on snapchat is that all your status posts gone expire after 24 hours. WhatApp has now launched the same feature in its new update. Also it has the option to mute and unmute your contacts whenever you want.
The owner of the application says that this is a steps towards the original purpose of Whats App. He says that eight years back when they launched this application, it only allowed you to let people know your feelings with only a single status. Even messages was not part this application at that time.
If you want to use these snapchat features on your whats app, browse the status tab in your whats-app to view your list of contacts. You can update, create or share your own status feeds. If you are unable to have these new features, make sure that you have upgraded to the latest version of whatsapp.

واٹس ایپ کے نئے فیچر کے تحت صارفین اپنے دوستوں کے لیے تصاویر، ویڈیوز، گفس، ایموجیز، ڈرائنگز اور کمنٹس وغیرہ پر مشتمل پوسٹیں شیئر کرواسکتے ہیں جو 24 گھنٹے بعد خودبخود ڈیلیٹ ہوجایا کریں گی۔ البتہ یہ فیچر فی الحال صرف اینڈروئیڈ اسمارٹ فونز کے لیے ہے جسے جلد ہی ایپل آئی فون اور ونڈوز اسمارٹ فونز کےلیے بھی پیش کردیا جائے گا۔
