There are total 59 Foreign Embassies and 68 Consulates in Pakistan and all are well protected and highly guarded by Pakistan law enforcement agencies. As far as the most secured and protected embassy is concerned then we can easily say that US Embassy in Islamabad is most protected embassy in Pakistan. The Embassy is surrounded with electronic fence and to reach that embassy you need to cross so many check point and faces so many security cameras.
The US embassy staff is so much polite and humble as they give special treatment to everyone who come to get the visa and to resolve other issues. As Pakistan is the trusted member of Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The Pakistan become member of Vienna Convention on 29 March 1962 and active member of the most important treaty. The interesting thing is that US did not fully recognize the Vienna Convention of Diplomatic Relation as it only accept some parts of the Vienna convention. The USA decided to have it’s new Embassy in Islamabad and for that it give green signal to renowned construction company BL Herbert International,LLC to start construction work as Construction work started in 2011. The company start working rapidly as 10,000 people completed this project in 30 million hours as it cost around 24 billion Pakistani Rupees.
2: New US Embassy in Islamabad Inauguration:
The USA New Embassy in Islamabad construction completed in almost 7 years as Former US Ambassador David Hales inaugurated New US Embassy in Islamabad on 2nd July 2018 as on that occasion Principle Deputy Assistance Secretary of State Alice Wells and Bureau of Overseas Building Operations Project Director Tracy Thomas participated in the event. The Former US Ambassador David Hales deliver speech on that event as he said:
The US Embassy in Islamabad is like a new CIA or NSA office as it is fully Hi-tech Cyber Office having so many security protocols. It is like an electronic prison which is unbreakable as no one can break the security. The New Embassy have the 6 Stories and every floor which is highly secured and have multiple security checks where even Birds afraid to fly.
