When the idea of Pakistan was put forth. It was just that merely an idea in a sea of ideas. Like any idea some were opposed to it and some in favor. As the idea became a reality some of those opposing it warmed up to the idea of a separate state and participated wholeheartedly in it. Such people should not be condemned as traitors or the like. On the other hand there were some who oppose it to this day. They are another story altogether. In my opinion no matter what our position in life differences of opinion should be respected and should not taken as mean to condemn one another. Unless or until the person in question stoops too low to warrant a condemnation.

the overwhelming majority of ulama-e-hind apposed the creation of a seperate state for muslims. i've tried so hard to try to find the central reason for they're opposion and after almost 2 years, i've come up with only one conclusion: and that i that the ulama didn't want a seperate state for muslims, not because they wanted to live in secular indian republic, but because they wanted a post-mughal or neo-mughal islamic state and wanted the whole of india to be included in it. so basically these respected ulama were so naive and, God forbid, retarded that they thought that they can demand the entire indian subcontinent to be under they're rule and the hindus would just happily agree to be under the islamic thumb once again. if any brother can give me another reason for why the ulama of india opposed the creation of pakistan, please let me know becase as of now, their is no other justifiable reason.

May Allah make Pakistan, not the islamic state the Qaid-e-Aazam wanted, but the Islamic State that would be closer to the first Islamic State of Madinah and the Khilafat-ul-Rashidun. i'm not opposing our Qaid, i'm simply stating that he was not perfect, and his vision was distorted, a man who never had an islamic education can not determine what an actual Islamic State is. but being a molvi doesn't make you any better either, the ulamas are far to narrow minded these days, gone are the days of the Islamic Renaissance of India when the Ulama united and fought against the western ideology of the british. May Allah make Pakistan a Moderate community as Allah Says in the Quran:
