There is no political solution to our troubled evolution. Have no faith in constitution. There is no bloody revolution

Since 1947; ONLY one thing is Constant in Pakistan - The Army. They Rule and Run Pakistan. Everything else in the name of a government is just an illusion to feed the people and give them the illusion of control. The People and the Political leaders are stuck in this illusion.

The Army has played an ACTIVE role in stifling political development in Pakistan. And they continue to do so. All the nations of the world know who really runs Pakistan - except the people of Pakistan who continue to invest in their political parties and have faith in the Political system.

I see it differently. Its always the politicians and their cronies who have brought this country down to its knees with their utter bad governance and monumental corruption. Army always had to intervene to save the country.

And does it ? Does it manage to "save" the country?

South Korea a few decades ago was one the most corrupt countries in the world. But over the course of time and successive governments, they learned. In Pakistan the ARMY first of all does not let the people learn. And then to top it off they do not let the civilian governments have REAL control. Even today, do you think the Army is UNDER the civilian government? The Army ONLY saves Pakistan for itself.

Looks like we will continue arguing on this with no agreement in sight. So the middle way is .....
Let's agree to disagree.

There are no shortcuts to success. When a child learns to walk, it will fall many times. But if you have an over bearing parent who is there to prevent a fall; then the child has developmental issues. Do you agree with this assessment ? Although in this analogy I don't consider the army as a Parent; but for simplicity sake and for the sake of appeasing a notion that would be agreeable and understandable to you.
