Having watched the Punjab Assembly CM election proceedings, remembered two English proverbs:
1. "What goes around comes around"
2. "What is good for peter must be good for Paul"
IK had asked for disqualification of his dissident Parliamentarians and the Supreme court ruled accordingly. So now he has no reason to maker a fuss about it.
However there is one caveat in the law which is difference in a few members dissenting and the whole party dissenting. In this case the whole party has dissented against the directions of their president which morally disqualifies and deprives him of the authority to exercise any control over the party.
Now the PTI lawyers will pick up this point in their plea and analysts will rant the same on TV. Credit should be given to siasat.pk and the originator of this moral/legal point.
