What else is left to prove in Panama Case???

Burden of proof has been shifted to the Sharif family after they accepted the ownership of properties in London. Now it is the responsibility of Sharif family to show the proper money trail.

However, Sharif family has completely failed to provide the money trail and coming up with conflicitng statements, lame excuses, fictional stories of Arabian Nights, and Qatari letters to save their skin.

Even if the Qatari letter is legit, then they still have to show the evidence of transactions that took place with the Qatari prince, transfer of money to London, land records and documentary evidence of the purchase of those flats.

Since the counsel of NS has already accepted that they do not have the "documents" to show money trail, then dunno what else is left to prove except to declare NS a thief???

Famous excuse of a lazy school kid, "the dog ate my homework" is no longer considered a legit defence.

Basically everything , NS will still be free. Courts in this day and age just dont have the courage to make a decision. Worse case , they will announce a commission which will determine whether any laws were broken. That probably will be after 2018 elections.
Only possible is scenario is that NS is being pressurised to resign by establishment on the basis of instability in the country due to this case.

Actually I feel opposite.
Judges remarks were alarming. They are scrutinizing PTI's layer more than shareefs. Justice asked PTI to prove mayfair appartment ownership date.
Judges also completely disregarded Nawaz Shareef's parliament's speech. They even questioned even if laundering took place, it happened outside the jurisdiction of pakistan in qatar, dubai london etc.

I am becoming increasingly certain that court will not touch Nawaz Shareef. Even if Shareefs are found guilty, the court will hand a benign verdict probably asking Shareef family to pay taxes in retrospect or some monetary penalty. At most they will penalize Shareef's son or daughter which again not a big deal. Court will then demand government for further investigation at government's earliest convenience which we all know means nothing.

Court will do some other small thing for PTI's face saving but nothing substantial or meaningful.

Dont expect anything more than this.

The end result will do nothing to this government and Shareef will remain the king.

If we think of timelines, I have a feeling when PTI announced its panama dharna, Shareefs were already working on how to get a favorable court verdict. They had already convinced Justice Jamali to delay the case until end of his term and they already decided on the name of the current justice and discussed the details of this case.

I feel all of this was done even before the dharna date was reached and when the very naive Imran Khan was doing push-ups, Shareefs offered pindi wali sarkaar judicial investigation.

Shareefs are 4 steps ahead of PTI and the nation. they are more kameenay and meesnay than anyone can think.

We are all ignoring the fact that direct and main accused are aal-e-nawaz, not aal-e-shareefs. Hussain nawaz, hasan nawaz, mariam nawaz. Nawaz Shareef's name has not been raised directly in panama papers neither has court so far shown any interest or inclination towards going after aal-e-shareef.
aal-e-shareef are only indirect accused.

aal-e-shareef will atmost do a temporary qurbani of aal-e-nawaz, if at all.
