Two wrongs don't make a right. This Mufti Mehmood pull should have been constructed long ago, also IK should pay special attention to the maddening traffic when one enters Peshawar city. This is coming from a PTI voter, highly disappointed. If Khattak is a slacker he should be changed immediately otherwise people are not going to vote them on the basis of their performance on ground in the next general elections.

These are old images. The flyover is mostly done.. The delay is caused because the contractors has been changed thrice because of either failing to deliver or doing corruption like in old days which isn't permitted in the new KPK.:)

People always point out to this flyover, forgetting the fact that PTI is working on almost every road you see in Peshawar(i am sure they are doing same in other districts as well) and expanding each and every road, planting trees along side it and also setting a better drainage system along side roads..

When you focus on a single flyover then you can complete it quickly but when you focus on the whole city then of course labor and funds are going to be an issue because you have to uniformly distribute among all the construction projects.

This flyover was started in MMA govt. ANP couldn't complete it because there had huge commission involved so quality was comptomised. PTI wanted to complete with quality wherease the contractors couldn't afford it. On the same time PTI didn't want to pressurise them as they could to the court which would delay it more. PTI's own projects are not delayed.

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has initiated another inquiry against chairman of the Pakistan chapter of the Transparency International Syed Adil Gilani,The Express Tribune learnt reliably on Wednesday.
According to contents of a complaint lodged by Abdul Wahid, Chief Executive of the Far East Oriental Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd addressed to Director FIA, Punjab: “Adil Gilani’s past is chequered with massive wrongdoings and allegations of fraud … while he was (working as) a government employee. We take this opportunity to shed light on the not-so-respectful past of the chairman of the Transparency International Pakistan. (He) was a government servant working in the Karachi Development Authority and was involved in massive frauds, including the award of construction contract for the FTC building in Karachi.”
The letter said that when pressure from investigating agencies became unbearable, he absconded to Africa where he remained for a considerable period.

ISLAMABAD: Transparency International, which is a watchdog organisation to pinpoint corruption, has been appointed as Consultant by the Nawaz Sharif government for the PM Inspection Commission and its main figure Syed Adil Gilani will now sit in the PM Secretariat.

Documents reveal that a notification was issued on Jan 27 (No.1/1/2015-CH/PMIC), saying Syed Adil Gilani has been appointed as Honorary Consultant and the terms and conditions of his job, besides other tasks, will be as follows:
