ISLAMABAD: The US has expressed keen interest in investing Diamer Bhasha Dam and the issue would be discussed during the meeting of Economic Working Group in Washington next month, Geo News reported.US Ambassador Richard Olson called on Federal Minister For Water and Power Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar and exchanged views on enhancing Washington s cooperation in power sector.Pakistan has been facing a severe energy crisis due to lack of big water reservoirs that has adversely affected country s economy.
