US FOR DIALOGUE BETWEEN PAKISTAN & INDIA TO IMPROVE TIES

WASHINGTON: The United States on Wednesday expressed that it is aware of the border tensions between Pakistan and India at the Line of Control.
According to media reports, We continue to want to see dialogue and discussion between India and Pakistan to improve cooperation, to improve communication, and improve shared efforts against a common threat, State Department Spokesman John Kirby told reporters at his daily news conference.
Kirby concluded, Weve talked about the threat of extremism there in the region. It affects everybody on both sides. And we continue to want to see dialogue and discussion between India and Pakistan to improve cooperation, to improve communication, and improve shared efforts against a common threat.
Relations between the two countries have plummeted in the recent months, with India blaming militants from Pakistan for a raid on an army base in its part of disputed Kashmir in September that killed 19 soldiers.
