Afridi sb, while I agree with your observation, I still have a question. Knowing beforehand that all parties will gang up against PTI, shouldn’t PTI have fielded its strongest candidate and run election campaign madly? In my view, it was possible to win this seat by ensuring that voter turn out gets higher.

Looking at the mindset of people of Pakistan results are not too bad for PTI. Majority of people think it is PTI's fault that Pakistan is in economic crisis, inflation and other mess. This will take time to change such mentality. I am hopeful as PTI did in KPK they will do even better in Center and Punjab

Absolutely they will, these things take time, for changes to take effect trickling down the system takes time
