Pakistan is producing morons and idiots in massive numbers , those who support suffocating businesses with taxes and permissions are just one type of morons , those who believe rich should be super taxed another type , those who want excessive government control the third type , those who rejoice at punishments on not paying taxes to a corrupt government another one and media is the final one.
I do not see how development rate can hit above 3% under current policies and attitudes . Pakistan is a state that does not promise taxpayer even a promise of free "qafin" in writing if he dies , how dare it collect taxes and how dare public calls non tax payer a criminal . Property and income tax be abolished and government should derive taxes from levy on import export and sales tax only, but what they do is give rebate to exporter from our coffers and income tax guys like this as they can show export where none occurred and get share in rebate.
How can a widow or orphan pay property tax , even if reduced if he does not rent property portion and lives him or herself . A torture tax is , why tax on car .
Taxes of 30-40 % are levied by countries which take responsibility of cradle to grave for its citizens, Pakistani goivernment takes no such responsibility , taxes of 10% were levied by ancient powers who had good resources but public had to care for themselves , others taxed in between 2% to 75 % , nations at wars levied higher taxes , Marhattas levied 25% (chauts) .
Scoundrel administrations levied taxes at higher level and as a matter of higher taxes without services are sign of scoundrel administrations of which pakistan is one.
The role of media like Geo , and all Tv channels is lamentable as they give impression that we pakistanis are mere tax stealers , then where has 2500 billion taxes come from . The TV channels which make countryman feel inferior as if they were tax defaulters should be punished and boycotted.
Personal income tax should be abolished , we are conspicuous consumer so let it be levied at imports and exports and on large sales within and in a minor percent as say 0.1% on bank and other transactions .
A ruppee in private sector generates much more employment than one in government sector.
Just get taxes on pakistani people and businesses for three consecutive years at 30% tax rate and I guarantee you that all employment and business will collapse and millions will starve to death , all the employment is owing to private sector efforts.
Pakistani media is getting unrealistic , it shows as if our judiciary has morals and sense and our government has our care in mind . It carries programs on TV as if police works . Musharaf's era was era of producing actresses and producing culture of pimpship , this was his contribution to civilization . I simply cannot believe that how can one have so many TV channels and yet have no Truth or education via them , but that is what has happened.
