Police say three-time Pakistani Olympic boxer Abrar Hussain has been shot and killed.Police officer Hamid Shakil says Hussain died after assailants shot him in the head while he was driving from his office in Quetta.
Hussain, who was also Deputy Director General Pakistan Sports Board was shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in critical condition but he succumbed to his injuries, a private news channel reported.
The 50-year-old Hussain represented Pakistan in the 1984, ‘88 and ‘92 Olympics.Hussain was serving as deputy director of sports in the capital of the Balochistan province.Quetta-based Abrar, who represented Pakistan in three Olympics, was famous among young boxers of the country.

اس فلم میں شائید وہ نہ ہو جو مجھے پسند ہے۔ مگر اس میں وہ کچھ بھی نظر نہیں آیا جس سے مجھے نفرت ہے یعنی فحاشی اور انتہائی مفروضیات مثلاً گانے اور موسیقی۔ ویسے یہ بھی پوری فلم دیکھ کر ہی اندازہ ہوگا کہ آیا واقعی اس فلم میں وہی کچھ ہے جو کہ میں سمجھ رہا ہوں یا وہی خواب و خیال کی ایک ڈش جو ہر بار کبھی سید نور پکاتا تھا یا جاوید شیخ۔
دنیا بدل چکی ہے۔ اب پیار محبت اور عشق سے پیٹ نہیں بھرتا۔ لوگوں کو حقیقی مسائل پر فلمیں پسند آتی ہیں جن میں حقیقت پر مبنی باتوں کا پرچار کیا جاتا ہے۔

Yes! Apart from cricket, no other game gets sponsors so he had to shift to Japan where he trains shoot fighters as well as boxers. I have two friends who are members of Pakistan football squad and have played international matches as well. One of them has a auto parts business (well settled) and the other is a tire puncture guy. On the other hand, if you are a cricketer, even Imran Nazir who lived near by has houses and what not.
