Which segment are you specifically talking about? I watched the whole show and if anyone had anyone to shut up was Mr. Raja with his superior arguments compared to loud mouth Chaudhry Sahib. I understand that Mr. Chaudhry is a lawyer too but if cases are decided on who is the loudest mouth then surely Mr. Chaudhry will win every case otherwise if reason and legal sense is considered then, as it was it was evident in the show Mr. Raja shot down Mr. Chaudhry's argument very easily.

Apparently you missed the part when Fawad Ch. said that there are some folks with murder charges against them have become editors of newspapers, MM did not deny that and he changed his offensive tone and was purring like a pussy cat.

Are you serious??? I did listen to that part but didn't think that you would consider that as a slam dunk - I found it hilarious to say the least. You could see the host shaking her head at the triviality of that argument by Mr. Chaudhry. I am not Mr. Malick's lawyer but who in Pakistan who is anybody doesn't have murder charges pending against them? If I was chaudhry I wouldn't be bringing that up rather use all my governmental machinery to do a service to the nation by bringing a murderer to justice who happens to be the editor of one of the largest newspapers of the country.

Yes, I am serious! FC accused him on national television and MM did not refute it. If FC had accused me I would have raised hell on tv.

There is a reason that you are not a newspaper editor invited to debate serious national issues and not responding to character assassination :)
I still think that its ludicrous that a member of the ruling party with overwhelming majority in the parliament is accusing someone of murder while not pursuing the case and making sure that an imposter acting as a newspaper editor is not convicted.
And, why should I pay attention to a site which doesn't mention the author's name and list the sources while leveling flimsy accusations?
Why isn't the government doing anything about it? Another interesting thing to note is that you are taking this article as the proof of MM's guilt yet it doesn't even mention the gravest of the charges against him. I didn't see the murder charge listed there.
I think it would be better to talk about the issues at hand and use counter arguments to shut someone up instead of throwing some flimsy accusations.
Again, I am not a lawyer for MM and just trying to use common sense here. I am not sure that I would be willing to engage in frivolous argument with anyone who accuses me of murder - I don't think that it would be worth my time. I am sure that there are sites listing the corruption and misdeeds of FC on the internet without listing sources and authors - would I believe them. The answer is no! I won't until I see some proofs that could be used in a court of law.

I don't think you watched that program very carefully, it was MM who accused FC first, then FC kicked MM where sun don't shine.
My friend courts are for civilized people, Pakistan is a lawless society. I don't think you live in Pakistan. I think the same way as you do, but unfortunately things don't work like that in Pakistan.
