The removal of AU from finance ministry has to be the biggest set back in PTI's political history.
Argue all you want, but IK has finally succumbed to external pressures and vested interests who who them to fail.

It has also exposed righteous and flawed principles.

All AU has done is carry out what IK himself had been advocating for. He expected results when he himself has repeatedly admitted that this current state of the economy was the worst in the country's history.
He constantly preaches that all we can do is put an effort and leave the results to Allah, but he's failed to uphold it in practice.

As for the "merits" of his decisions whether it was justifiable or not. Just compare his baseless support for CM punjab usman buzdar despite his obvious incompetence.

Yet, AU who has worked tirelessly day and night while keeping IK's vision of naya pak in mind is not praise ONCE.

Hugely disappointed today.

That all sounds nice but it is not practical. The removal of AU alone is proof of how deep roted these status quo forces are. It took IK 23 years to get here. Changes like this aren't easy.

It is just a big loss, and he will realize it soon enough if he has some conscience.

Was listening to Samaa News just now - Ramesh Kumar PTI MNA says Asad Umar resigned due to an emotional decision after getting criticized in the cabinet meeting
Another news floating is that recently Jahangi Tareen criticized Asad Umar in one of his brief interviews explaining why he was asked to brief the cabinet on agriculture. I think Asad Umar probably opposed JT coming to cabinet meeting. A hint of it comes in the remark by Shah Mehmood Qureshi praising Asad Umar.

Well IK is being sabotaged from within by pmlq folks and the insafians have to rise. A corporate star and self made man who took reigns of an economy not just any, but an impoverished one to say the least and he is trying to take out from clutches of inherently corrupt system and trying to overhaul it. This is absurd thinking. Khan needs to understand. Rightly so Asad Umar rejected being replaced as energy minister. He is fit for finance and may take on someone as state minister. What about the country?

AU was destroying the economy and i think IK realised that before it was too late.

Increasing inflation, devaluing currency, taking gigantic loans, shattering the existence of the poor, protecting the corrupt through tax amnesty schemes and then saying this is how economy will improve while sitting in AC rooms is nothing but a bunch of bollocks.

The people who are sad about Asad Umar are either well off in life or sitting in other countries who have absolutely no idea what AU policies had done to the poor.
