All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) chief and former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf said on Sunday that the present government had failed miserably and the government writ was not visible anywhere.
Talking to the APML secretary general Dr Amjad, Musharraf said the so-called democratic parties and their leaders called the longest session of the parliament, but the concluding speech of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was extremely disappointing which lacked any programme for the future.
The APML chief said the parliament session didn’t come out with any solution to the ongoing political crisis in the country. During the whole session, he said Nawaz Sharif continued praising the PPP while the later returned the favours to the prime minister.
Musharraf said Nawaz Sharif and his aides were facing immense frustration after failing to intimidate him through fake cases. He said those who were disturbing him so far would soon face the same trouble. He said the political parties called the parliament session for a purpose but all of them took a U-turn after many days of the session. He said the purpose of the parliament session was to find a solution to the political crisis but the government and the opposition were seen saving each other during the whole episode.
The APML chief said the country faced instability whenever Nawaz Sharif came to power. He said the vision of a person who had become prime minister for third time was before the nation.
He lamented that the educational institutions of Islamabad were closed for the last one month and police were occupying these buildings. He said the community centres which were meant for helping the poor were also occupied by the police.
Musharraf said the country needed a national government having positive thinking and vision. He said people having neat and clean character should be included in the national government.
