Which school is this? Any idea? This teacher need to get some lesson & refresher course. Can't treat students like that. Some students was speaking punjabi in there.

you are right but somehow I am becoming strictly against any kind of punishment in childhood, either by parents or by teachers.. you may get temporary benefits but in the long run, you are destroying many good things among children by doing so. a few examples being self respect, respect for others, confidence level, love of studies, etc. I had always wondered why even german kids are more confident than us adults. The main reason being the love and confidence given to them at homes as well as schools. A teacher who needs punishment to make students study is not a teacher at all in my opinion.
