I think there should be a new ijtehad whereby the ban on depictions of sahaba should be lifted and should remain only on the person of the Holy Prophet pbuh .

Would it not be better that our young peoples rooms are adorned with the faces of heores of our cause rather than Mel Gibson as Willam Wallace Braveheart?

Umar bin Khattab r.a. is the most iconic, formidable and successful leader in history, more so than Alexander. Yet the world does not know as much about him as about Alexander.
