Islamabad: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that there had been no improvement in Balochistans deteriorating situation as ministers didnt let people of the province to benefit from Rs 10 billion given to the province under NFC award. Speaking at Balochistan Conference held by the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) on Saturday, Khan said that the country could be prosperous with strong centre and fragile provinces.Imran Khan said that Balochistan issue should be resolved through negotiations. He said it was provincial autonomy that brought development and prosperity to India.Khan said that politicians working for vested interest could tame military establishment. He gave instance of Receo Tayyip Erdgogan who brought several generals to book by the peoples support.
He said who did politics for personal gains often compromised while those who were committed to ideology never did so.

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President and former prime minster Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that atrocities and injustices turned Baloch into insurgents.Speaking at the Balochistan Conference held by Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) on Saturday, he said that those who committed atrocities and killed Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti should be held accountable.He lamented that Pervez Musharraf was accorded with guard of honour when he left the presidency and nobody dare to held him accountable.Sharif said injustices and cruelties could turn anybody to turn violent. He said We should held responsible ourselves instead of passing the buck.We should not be complaining of Baloch being rebels, He said, adding that there was not benefit of Balochistan package.The former prime minister said that past practices would not be allowed to be repeated in the country, referring to forced disappearances of people. He said he had learnt lessons from the past.
