What you said holds true for developed nations, not Pakistan however. I recently went to my village, I looked at the new houses built and being built, believe it or not, 70% of those houses belong to people who are working abroad, mainly in the middle east. The rest belong to people with money and some with shady pasts.
In a country where one can't build his own house after working for 30 years, BMW can only remain a dream. I hope you get what I'm trying to say.
