The fact remains that Americans failed to destroy the only force in afghanistan despite having the top of the line war technology and thousands of nato troops. Last few years they were limited to Kabul only. Their objective of building an army against tabliban failed , their objective of installing india as a proxy in Afghanistan failed , they would never spend 100s of billion dollars just to catch bin laden. The real focus was to build its presence in the region and destroy the CPEC project. After 20 years here , they have failed in almost all the objectives in Afghanistan. They no longer have control in Afghanistan and Pakistan too is not leaning on US shoulder anymore. The US is going back empty handed and India is facing historic humiliation (na teen main na tera mein).

پاکستان کی وجوہات افغانستان میں تحریکِ طالبان کی حمایت میں کم از کم اسلامی بنیادوں پر تو نہیں ہے۔ اسکی وجہ دوسری جانب کے فارسی بانوں اور تاجِک برادری کی بھارت کی حمایت ہے۔

بہرحال، طالبان کو بھی سمجھنا چاہیئے کہ عورتوں کی تعلیم اور مردوں کے داڑھی منڈھوانے پر اسلام میں کوئی سزا نہیں۔ بلکہ عورتوں کی تعلیم انکا بنیادی حق ہے۔ لوگوں کو ڈنڈے کے زور پر نماز پڑھوانا کہیں سے کوئی نیکی نہیں، نہ ہی اسکی مثال حضورؐ کی یا ان کے اصحابؓ کی سیرت میں کہیں پائی جاتی ہے۔

I have enjoyed the drama of empires running but the stupidity of that notion is mind boggling. I hope they realise that educating women will develop their country. I hope what people say about them isn't true but if its true, then who would want to live under them.
