Just showing the amount of tax paid is not enough. Income tax depends on your income. A person paying 5000 Rs might be paying legitimate tax whereas a person paying 2 million might be eating tax worth millions. Tax audit is a must for parliamentarians. Without tax audit nothing will work.

What about those who are not paying a single penny. I agree with you that tax audit is a must .. but take an example of Javed Hashmi he paid ZERO tax in 2013. Do we need any audit for him too ?

thank you brother, for highlighting such an importan issue. Its a shame that even PTI members are tax defaulters. This is not what we voted for. PTI needs to make sure its members pay taxes.
